CHRISTMAS TIME

It’s Christmas time for us a time sublime,

Jesus had to come to save us from the crime.

So sad it is that we can’t change our evil ways,

and live upto that which the Holy scripture says.

Many don’t enjoy Christmas when they look at the orphans,

with no food to eat so they cancel their plans.

Some ignore their needs and spend little money for it,

they think the money saved will be enough for their treat.

Jesus doesn’t come every year in the same manger,

he comes in the disguise of poor beggars and stranger.

He still cries for the abandoned the needy and downtrodden,

he feels happy during Christmas when we visit the sick and bedridden.

So many years have gone by so much have been said,

yet we have misunderstood it and little attention has been paid.

Those who have no one never dream of Santa’s gift,

they eagerly wait for someone to bring a little food to eat.

The homeless and the lonely people look above to our God,

only when they can’t arrange their needs and can’t afford.

They can’t meet Jesus physically down the streets and lanes of their homes,

they believe he is in someone like us as they stare at the lovely church domes.

The message of true christmas is charity and unconditional love,

to go on giving to others so that you may get what you need from above.
